as sales agent for local telephone companies. Mast, along
with its contemporaries in the yellow page industry L.M. Berry
& Co and RH Donnelley, published most of the telephone directories

Mast has embraced many technological developments in the directory
business over the past 45 years, and has constantly strived

small one-color yellow page ads in 1959. The delivery method
